Day 8: Sarnia to Bluewater. Trip total 972km

Leaving at 5am this morning was a smart move.  Although the temperature was still in the mid 20s, the early morning mist kept me fairly cool.

I found myself heading due east for sections of the ride while the sun was coming up, which was both blinding and exhilarating.

I followed highway 7 and 21 along the shoreline into Bayfield, 100km away as planned. Unfortunately there weren't any available lodgings in the area so I had to tack on another 20km to the nearest available room in Clinton.

To avoid further hassle,  I've booked spots for the next two nights' stops. Hopefully the weather cools down a bit after that and I'll feel more comfortable camping.
